Tooth whitening is offered as an in office process using a special light that activates a whitening gel to lighten your teeth in 1-2 hours. It can also be offered as a custom fitted appliance that is worn at home for 2 weeks or more. Both work to whiten your teeth equally well.

Porcelain veneers are thin custom made molds of porcelain that cover the front of the tooth to change either its shape or colour. They are bonded to the tooth, providing strength and durability. The use of porcelain creates a stable colour that will last for years.

Porcelain crowns and bridges are porcelain restorations that can replace missing teeth, or strengthen a tooth made weak from a previous filling. They also create a natural, beautiful looking appearance because of the translucency and vitality of the porcelain, which duplicates those properties found in natural teeth. The porcelain colour and the crown shape can be changed to fit your new smile design.

Porcelain-metal crowns and bridges are another option for replacing missing or weakened teeth. These are made of both porcelain and metal, usually a gold alloy and can be used in situations where extra strength is required.  

 Esthetic shaping or contouring is a simpler means of producing an esthetic improvement, if the colour is acceptable and the strength of the tooth is not compromised by the presence of a large filling. However, there are limits to what can be achieved. Nonetheless, dramatic results in appearance can result with changing the shape of a tooth.

White fillings are an excellent way to repair a tooth that is weakened by a silver filling, which has expanded and created small cracks throughout the tooth. If the original filling is too large only a crown or partial crown can provide strength that is long lasting. Due to the presence of mercury in silver fillings we do not use them. We use special techniques to remove silver fillings to reduce the mercury vapour that is released when they are replaced. As a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, we follow the protocol established by this organization in the removal of silver fillings to provide a safe and healthy environment for our patients and our staff.

Occlusal treatment or adjustments are done when the bite is not functioning normally, there is pain on chewing, teeth are chipping or becoming excessively worn. Corrections are done to harmonize the upper and lower teeth.

Bruxing appliances are used often in conjunction with occlusal treatment to prevent further breakdown of teeth.

Dentures and partial dentures are appliances used to replace missing teeth when other options are not viable.

Extractions are done with skill, care and expertise, ensuring you have a comfortable experience.

Root Canal Treatment. is essential when a tooth becomes abscessed or infected. This treatment will save the tooth from extraction, allowing normal function to continue since no teeth are lost. It is typically a pain free process.

Periodontal services involve deep cleaning under the gums.

Hygiene services include cleaning or polishing the teeth, which removes stain such coffee, tea and bacterial plaque. This service also involves scaling or root planing, which is the process of cleaning the surface of the root. This removes the hard tenacious material called tartar or calculus, eliminating or reducing the bacterial contamination that causes bone loss, loose teeth and gum inflammation.
